Mobile Technology? We can choose to ignore it, be swept away or embrace this concept to be a part of the innovative ride. Catch the Wave, my Friend!

As I embark on a new journey to not only help SC understand the importance of how educational reform and systematic change should happen centered around mobile technology and project based learning, I would like to share insights with parents, teachers, students, business leaders, and governmental policy makers.....and anyone that will listen. (:

It's not about the technology....it is about preparing our future leaders (our children) for a career path that we have not even imagined.

Check out these headlines:
Milliken & Company - Solve the Challenges of our Crumbling Civil Infrastructure
Develop collaborative networks to speed innovation and adoption & bring meaningful, cost-effective solutions for civil Infrastructure repair

Clemson University - Self-Healing Materials for Future Technologies
Self-healing polymers offer a new generation of materials that will revolutionize technologies of the 21st Century

Purdue University - Using Living Labs to Advance Water Utility Asset Management
Underground water and sewer pipelines are buried assets experiencing increasing deterioration as they meet and exceed their useful life.

Southeastern Institute of Manufacuring and Technology - 3D printing and simulations
The SiMT provides technical services to entreprenuers & existing companies in the areas of 3D printing/prototyping and visual simulations

This is happening in South Carolina!

We need to teach our kids to be innovative thinkers, to collaborate on projects, and understand how to utilize technology or the information available to advance or solve problems in a career field. This is what makes a productive society flourish.

SC is on the crest of a wave that is ready to take us surfing in the right direction. We can choose to ignore it and be swept away or embrace this concept to be a part of the innovative ride. Yes this involves ALL... parents, teachers, students, business leaders, and governmental policy makers....to see the need for educational reform, systematic change, while embracing mobile technology for learning.

Catch the wave, my friend!
